Nationwide Trailers is born in Houston
Nationwide Trailers is born in Houston, TX as an authorized PJ Trailers dealer. No fancy office, just three guys with deep roots in the trailer industry, converted shipping containers on a gravel lot off I-45, and one goal: build a dealership that treats customers like partners, not transactions.

Nationwide Trailers is born in Houston, TX as an authorized PJ Trailers dealer. No fancy office, just three guys with deep roots in the trailer industry, converted shipping containers on a gravel lot off I-45, and one goal: build a dealership that treats customers like partners, not transactions.
Growing Across Texas
2012–2015
From one lot to four
Word spread, and new stores followed: San Antonio, then Odessa, then Pasadena. The founders still worked the lots themselves while they grew the team, and by 2015 that scrappy Houston operation was the largest PJ Trailers dealer in the USA.
The Flagship Grows Up
2016
Re-grand opening on the North Freeway
The converted shipping containers gave way to a seven-acre Houston flagship with 30,000 square feet and the biggest in-stock trailer inventory in Texas. At the grand opening that March, PJ Trailers itself joined the party: BBQ, beer, and rows of trailers on the new lot.
First Stop Beyond Texas
2018
Across State Lines
With five Texas stores open, we crossed into Arkansas and welcomed Trailer Country of Cabot, a family-run institution since 1999 that brought horse and concession trailers into the lineup. Shortly after, we moved the Cabot team up the road to a larger lot and a brand new building. Three months after Cabot joined us, we opened in Tulsa, our first Oklahoma store.
The COVID Years
2020
Building through the shutdown
When the world shut down, we stayed open as an essential business. With production and manufacturing slowed worldwide, we helped small business owners keep critical operations running, finding trailers when trailers were hard to find and standing behind every one of them. We never stopped building, either: our new Fort Worth store went up that same spring.
Before
AfterGrowing Across the Map
2021–2024
Oklahoma City, Kansas City & St. Louis
The map kept filling in across the middle of the country. Customers were already driving hours to reach us. Opening closer to them meant shorter trips, faster service, and more trailers they could actually walk up to and inspect. Every new lot carried the same promise: honest advice, real inventory, and support after the sale.
A New Home Base
2025
The Home Office moves to Fort Worth
In May 2025 we moved our Home Office from Houston to Fort Worth, putting our support team in the middle of the map we serve. The same year, we opened our newest Texas store in Van Alstyne, north of Dallas.
Heading West
2026
JacksSons Trailers joins the family
Our most recent chapter: Arizona's JacksSons Trailers joined the Nationwide Trailers family, adding their stores and decades of local know-how. Today we're 14 locations strong across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri & Arizona, still the #1 PJ Trailers dealer in the USA, still doing business the way we started.
